Former D.C. Salvation Army Headquarters to Convert to Luxury Condos

02.03.2023

The former D.C. Salvation Army Headquarters located at 2626 Pennsylvania Avenue NW has been acquired by 2626 Penn LLC—a joint venture of Velocity Property Management and New Legacy Partners. The five story, 32,750 square-foot office building will be converted into 49 luxury condominiums. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid 2024.

Just outside Georgetown in the West End submarket, 2626 Pennsylvania Avenue NW overlooks Rock Creek Park, offering unparalleled views and a unique natural urban setting for its future residents. “We are thrilled to be working with the development team on 2626 Pennsylvania” said Clint Mann, President of Urban Pace. “This is such a unique property, with National Park land on three sides and unparalleled panoramic views from the National Cathedral above historic Georgetown to the Potomac River.”

2626 Pennsylvania Avenue will offer 49 residences, ranging from one-bedroom to larger, three-bedroom residences with private outdoor terraces and incredible views. For more information and to receive the latest updates about the project, please click here to join our priority VIP list.
