Urban Pace Introduces San Domingo Cove on Maryland’s Eastern Shore

04.25.2017

(Washington, DC—April  25, 2017)   Urban Pace presents the grand opening of San Domingo Cove, a new community of waterfront homes in historic St. Michaels, Maryland. At the heart of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, San Domingo Cove offers the extraordinary opportunity to own a waterfront home at inland prices, in a community where every homesite shares a pier.

The April 29 grand opening  event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. will feature wine tasting, and hors d’ oeuvres, a boat bar, home tours and hot air balloon rides (from 4 to 6 p.m. only).    Transportation will be provided from San Domingo Cove to downtown and vice versa.

“San Domingo Cove redefines life on the water, with affordable luxury in one of the country’s most picturesque towns,” said Matt Dewey, President of Urban Pace.  “We are thrilled to unveil this new community on Saturday when visitors and residents will be out in numbers to attend the always popular WineFest at St. Michaels.”

Waterfront homes in this distinguished new maritime community start in the $800s, with one-to-two-acre waterfront homesites from the $350s for those who wish to work with their own builder. And every home design has been created to reflect the charm and coastal flair of Eastern Shore living.  Buyers can choose from nine home designs, with three- to 10- bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,700 square feet to nearly 5,000 square feet, with features such as owner’s suites on the first or second levels, patios, porches, balconies, pools, outdoor kitchens and fireplaces.

Additionally, San Domingo Cove is designed with protection of the waterfront and restoration of the wetlands paramount. Community piers are designed with Ecograte decking to support subaquatic vegetation. Mature woodlands have been preserved, with more than 60 percent of the community designed to remain undeveloped as a welcoming home for local wildlife.

A wide, paved path offers homeowners direct access from San Domingo Cove into downtown St. Michaels and an array of fine restaurants, casual cafes, wine bars, boutiques, galleries and year-round entertainment.  St. Michaels itself represents the heart and soul of the Chesapeake, as one of the mid-Atlantic’s most popular destinations, with a rich past that dates back to the late 1600s and a history as a trading post and shipbuilding center.

San Domingo Cove is being developed by Elm Street Development.
