(Washington, DC—July 17, 2020) Clint Mann, President of real estate services firm Urban Pace, has been named one of the Washington Business Journal’s 2020 “40 Under 40,” which honors the next generation of Greater Washington business elite. Clint is recognized for leading the transformational growth of his firm’s development, marketing, sales and leasing strategies, while also making significant community contributions that range from housing supply and affordability to real estate development and social justice.

“Clint is an innovator who, with his team at Urban Pace, delivers exceptional results for the residential developers whom they advise as well as create seamless sales experiences for consumers.  This honor is well deserved and all of us at Long and Foster congratulate him,” said Jeff Detwiler, CEO of The Long and Foster Companies, parent company of Urban Pace.

Under Clint’s leadership, Urban Pace has been tapped by the region’s most innovative developers to advise on, market, sell and lease some of the most prominent condominium and apartment communities that include eNvy developed by Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, Liz from Ron Kaplan and Andy Altman’s Fivesquares Development, The Parks at Historic Walter Reed developed by Hines, Urban Atlantic and Triden Development, and 8th & O which will be the final parcel in the City Market at O redevelopment for Roadside Development.

While presiding over expansive growth in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic presence, Clint has also been integral to the company’s expansion into other markets. Urban Pace is currently working on three landmark projects in Philadelphia, while also serving as the leading new home sales expert within HomeServices of America, Inc., the largest real estate company in the country. In addition, Clint is forging strategic partnerships between Urban Pace and top HomeServices of America, Inc. affiliates across the country.

Over his 17-year career, Clint has managed the sales and marketing of more than 160 communities in six states and the District, encompassing a total sales value in excess of $4.5 billion. Clint has worked with builders, developers, private equity firms and other well-known organizations on new construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic, South Florida and New England.

“Clint represents all the qualities that this honor embodies.  In everything he does, he demonstrates excellent leadership and has an incredible gift for bringing people together to solve problems and create solutions,” said Lisa Mallory, CEO of the DC Building Industry Association.

Clint has also turned his skills and expertise to socially just development and housing. Most recently, he was named a board member of Jubilee Housing, where he was elected to the position of Secretary and serves on the Executive Committee. He is also on the Board of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) and serves as the Housing Committee Co-Chair for DCBIA and is a member of their Small Agency Working Group. He is a member of the ULI Washington Housing Council and a mentor for the ULI Young Leaders Program. He serves on the Capital Bank Advisory Board and is a past Vice President and Development Chair of the Sitar Arts Center Board of Directors.

“I’m thrilled to accept this honor, and just in the nick of time to qualify as under 40.  Everyone on the Urban Pace team has played an important role in our firm’s exponential growth and success,” said Mann. “I’m also grateful to our developer partners, and to the members of the Greater Washington, D.C. real estate community who welcomed me into the organizations that will help positively impact our community and industry.”
