Urban Pace Expands Service Offerings to Include Multifamily Leasing

06.14.2017

(Washington, DC—June 12, 2017)   Responding to an unmet need in the apartment market, development real estate services firm Urban Pace, known for its expertise and high performance in the sales and marketing of new condominiums, is now offering leasing services for multifamily projects. Its first project, The Aspen, is close to full lease-up with 120 units rented.  The Aspen is a new 133-unit building at 4th and L Streets, NW in the thriving Mt. Vernon Triangle neighborhood in Washington, DC built by Ellisdale Construction.

“For developers of smaller apartment projects, there are not many options when it comes to leasing, which is often done by property managers who are not necessarily skilled at marketing. We realized that many of the strategies and practices we use to sell condos translate well into leasing, so this is a natural evolution for our company,” said Matt Dewey, President of Urban Pace.

Urban Pace touts its proprietary technology platform, UP Velocity™, for the quick lease-up.  It uses a variety of algorithms to micro target likely renters given price point, size, and location, among other factors.  Urban Pace is then able to refine its marketing to reach interested renters and get units leased at a record pace.

Last year Urban Pace hired Tony Lucadamo as VP of Leasing, who has leased apartments for respected companies such as Bozzuto, Archstone, Riverstone, and RED Multifamily.  He has successfully completed high-profile lease-ups including The Apartments at CityCenter and Flats 130, the takeover and rebranding of 70, 100, and 909 Capitol Yards, and the stabilization of large, high-turnover buildings such as Mass Court and Crystal Towers.  He now leads the leasing team and will continue to grow it as Urban Pace signs on additional projects.
